Research Advocate

Diane has always been curious about our place in the world and fascinated by how language shapes our worldview. Interested in linguistics, psychology, philosophy, and technology, she studied Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania.

She has spent the last decade as a UX designer focused on human-AI interactions, designing AI assistants across different contexts (healthcare, productivity, entertainment) and mediums (voice, SMS, wearables, VR). Diane is excited to see AI being applied in new domains across science and research, and was drawn to Earth Species Project’s mission to deepen our connection with the natural world.

Outside of work, you can find her learning the handpan, squirrel-watching with her dog friend Loki, or planning her next trip.
